Grand Seiko 45GS 36000 Hi-Beat Toshiba

Introduction:

With its legendary 36000 Hi-Beat manual movement, 45GS was one of the most accurate watches Seiko produced in late 1960s. The case followed the design of the legendary 44GS and Taro Tanaka's philosophy of "Grammar Of Design". This watch here was directly ordered from Seiko by Toshiba, a Japanese company now expanding worldwide, and distributed internally to its employees. According to the engraved case back, it was presented to a worker in 1971 to celebrate 25 years work anniversary.
