Credor Node Spring Drive 18K Pink Gold
Although Credor is a brand managed by the Seiko Group, it is completely independent from Seiko's brand itself, explaining why the dial does not have Seiko's name on it. While Grand Seiko is getting popular internationally because of its philosophy of making beautiful but simple daily watches, Credor focuses on making luxury and innovative watches for the domestic market (Japan) only. This watch here comes from the "Node" series of Credor. The design emphasizes on simplicity, and is inspired by the moon and the way it interacts with the Earth. The watch is powered by Cal.7R88, a manual spring drive movement exclusive for Credor watches only. It is noticeably thinner, and the overall finishing is superior to Grand Seiko's movements in many ways. As for the case, it is made of 18K pink gold. The watch was initially introduced in 2008 with a price tag of JPY1,890,000, and was one of the premium models offered by Credor.
