Seiko 2nd Diver 6105-8110
Seiko 6105-8110 was the 2nd generation of Seiko diver watches. It was also probably the most historically significant Seiko diver watch. Thanks to its affordability and robustness, Seiko 6105 was popular among the U.S. soldiers in Vietnam War. It was also well-known for its role in the war movie "Apocalypse Now" directed by Francis Coppola. Naomi Uemura, a legendary Japanese explorer and the first man to reach the North Pole solo, wore a Seiko 6105 during his adventure. In 2021, Seiko introduced SLA051 which was another modern interpretation of the original Seiko 6105.
