Grand Seiko 61GS 36000 Hi-Beat Washi Paper Dial
61GS is the first Grand Seiko automatic watch with a cutting-edge 36000 Hi-Beat movement. It was introduced in late 1967, and is nowadays considered as one of the most accurate GS watches during Seiko's golden era. The date-day display also makes it the perfect everyday watch. This watch here has grown amazing patina over the dial evenly. It is thus named "Washi Paper Dial". "Washi" refers to traditional Japanese paper which tends to turn brown in a very unique way over generations.
