King Seiko First KS Model Gold
Introduction:
King Seiko was born together with Grand Seiko in 1960. They were the top grade Seiko watches at that time. This first KS model is impressive in 3 ways. Firstly, the case is made of 100 microns gold filled, thicker than the first GS model's case of 80 microns gold filled. Second, the dial is a rare "SD Dial", as illustrated by the sun logo right below the writing of "DIASHOCK 25 JEWELS". It means the hands and indexes are made of 18k yellow gold. Last but not least, it has a gold medal of shield at the case back. All these aspects make the first KS model bold and elegant.
