Seiko Lord Marvel 36000 Hi-Beat Pocket Watch NOS
Introduction:
Since 1958, Lord Marvel had always been the pioneer of Seiko's watch making technologies. The first Lord Marvel was the predecessor of the first Grand Seiko Cal.3180, and Lord Marvel Cal.5740C was the first ever 36000 Hi-Beat Seiko watch. This pocket watch was introduced in 1974, when quartz watches started to take over the market. It was the first ever Seiko pocket watch fitted with a cutting-edge 36000 Hi-Beat movement. Unbelievably, the watch is in NOS (New Old Stock) condition and it comes with all accessories. The receipt indicates that the watch was originally purchased by its first owner in 1977 at Ginza Wako, a high-end department store retailer in Japan.
