Seiko Red Alpinist 4S15-6000 SCVF005
Introduction:
Originally designed for Japanese mountain climbers, the first Seiko Alpinist was introduced in 1961 but it did not receive much attention from the market until 1995, the year Seiko introduced a completely fresh Alpinist model. It is also nicknamed "Red Alpinist" because of the red wording on the dial. There is an additional crown at 4 o'clock position to rotate the inner compass ring, which is actually practical for mountain climbers. To make sure the watch is strong enough to withstand extreme environments, it comes with a screw-down crown and a water proof level of 200m. The "Red Alpinist" watches are now highly demanded, mainly due to the fact that its movement Cal.4S15A is proved to be the best one in the series.
