Introduction:
The reason the dial does not bear Seiko’s name is because Credor, a brand owned by the Seiko Group, is entirely separate from Seiko’s own brand. Credor concentrates on producing luxury and cutting-edge timepieces exclusively for the Japanese market, while Grand Seiko is becoming well-known worldwide for its philosophy of creating elegant yet straightforward everyday timepieces. This watch is part of Credor’s “Node” series. The moon and its relationship to the Earth served as inspiration for the design, which places a strong emphasis on simplicity. Cal.7R88, a manual spring drive mechanism unique to Credor watches, powers the watch. It is noticeably thinner, and the overall finishing is superior to Grand Seiko’s movements in many ways. As for the case, it is made of 18K pink gold. The watch was initially introduced in 2008 with a price tag of JPY1,890,000, and was one of the premium models offered by Credor.
