Seiko Quartz VFA 3823-7040 Gold
Introduction:
Firstly introduced in "Seiko Watch Catalog 1974 Vol. 1", Seiko Quartz VFA was one of the highest priced watches in the catalog, excluding those made of precious metals. Quartz movement was a new technology to the world, and quartz watches were far more demanded than traditional mechanical watches. Quartz watches normally operate between +/-15 and +/-30 seconds per month. However, Seiko Quartz VFA was very fine adjusted to +/-5 seconds per month. The watch has a solid and sharp case that was only used for this particular model. As for the dial, it has a rare sand texture similar to the modern Grand Seiko "Snowflake" dial.
